About Us

  • Our Mission

You matter. We celebrate your difference. Working alongside autistic individuals and families to create meaningful, achievable outcomes together.

  • Our Vision

To create a service where autistic individuals are understood, respected, and supported to live meaningful lives on their own terms with dignity, choice, voice, and independence at the centre of everything we do.

  • Our Approach

Robin Specialist Autism Services is grounded in an autism-affirming, person-centred approach. We recognise autism as a different way of experiencing and understanding the world not something to be fixed, but something to be understood and supported.

We work alongside individuals and families, valuing lived experience and recognising that autistic people and those who know them best are experts in their own lives. Our support focuses on strengths, meaningful outcomes, and real-life impact. We aim to understand sensory experiences, communication, emotional regulation, and cognitive differences so that support is responsive, respectful, and individualised.

Our Commitment: We are committed to:

Dignity

Every person is respected and valued

Choice

Individuals are supported to make meaningful decisions about their lives

Voice

Listening to and amplifying the perspectives of autistic people and their families

Independence

Supporting individuals to build skills, confidence, and autonomy in ways that work for them

Our Values

Our values guide our ethos, direction, and everyday practice. They shape how we support individuals, work with families, and grow as a service.

Resilience
(Supporting through challenges):

We remain committed, reflective, and responsive, even when facing challenges. We continue working towards the goals of the people we support, adapting and learning as we go. We invest in our staff, develop their strengths, and grow together as a team so we can provide consistent, meaningful support.

Selflessness
(Putting others First):

We place the wellbeing, comfort, and needs of the individuals we support at the centre of everything we do. We recognise that feeling safe, happy, and understood creates the foundation for growth, engagement, and positive outcomes. Our work is guided by compassion, respect, and genuine care.

Authenticity
(Encouraging your true self):

We work in partnership with individuals and families, promoting shared ownership of support. We are open, honest, and transparent in our practice. We encourage people to be themselves, recognising strengths, interests, and motivations, and supporting each person to grow in ways that are meaningful to them. We promote an inclusive and respectful culture.

Simplicity
 (Keeping things clear):

We support people to be understood and to understand the world around them. We break learning into meaningful, achievable steps and create supportive, safe environments where individuals can thrive. Safety, trust, and clarity are central to our practice for both the people we support and our staff team.

Our Commitment to Quality:

We strive to provide high-quality; specialist support tailored to each individual. Our aim is to nurture confidence, wellbeing, and meaningful participation in life — supporting people to live fulfilling lives in ways that reflect who they are. As we grow, we remain grounded in our mission, values, and commitment to autism-affirming practice.
